Beer Cheese Soup

$5.99

Thick, rich cheesy soup that you prepare like you are making homemade gravy. (Add and stir. Add a bit more and stir.) In 20 minutes, you will have the best-tasting beer cheese soup you’ve ever tasted. For fun, garnish with with popcorn or bagel chips.

Use a bland, non-exotic, non-fruity bee. Or substitute white wine, ginger ale or apple juice. Use your favorite cheese. (I happen to like extra sharp cheddar.) Prepared soup holds perfectly in a slow cooker, so you can serve this sure winner at a potluck or Super Bowl party.

6 oz package makes approximately 2 quarts.

I wanted to take a few moments to let you know that we absolutely loved the Beer Cheese Soup that we purchased while vacationing in MN. I promise you that we have not had a better Beer Cheese soup “anywhere” before. It is simply amazing. I wish we would have bought some bread bowls to eat the soup from. That would have made the experience ever greater (if that’s possible).

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you thanks for selling the delicious beer cheese soup mix. My husband and I are both from MN, but he is in the Army and we are currently stuck in TX, where they have never even HEARD of beer cheese soup (let alone serve it!). I was recently in MN for a visit and we stopped at Bongards Creamery to pick up some curds, and I saw your soup mixes there. We grabbed a couple on a whim, thinking they'd be ok at best-- but we made them today and WOW. So good-- a taste of home way out here in the desert! So thanks so much. I would imagine there might be a few Southerners getting some beer cheese mix in their Secret Santa gifts this Christmas.
Keep up the great work, and thanks again!                                                                                       -- Carissa from San Angelo, TX
