Wild Rice Vegetable Salad

Create a unique, gourmet salad that’s perfect summer or winter. Perfectly-cooked wild rice is paired with rehydrated peas, crunchy carrots, crisp celery, and chopped onions. Chill. Just before serving, stir in your favorite salad dressing. If you like the dressing, you’ll like it on this salad.

You can add cubed, cooked chicken, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped raw broccoli or cauliflower, raisins, craisins, chopped apples, chopped cooked bacon, sunflower seeds, walnut pieces, or croutons.

If desired, serve on a bed of lettuce or spinach and add a fresh bread stick.

For Thanksgiving, dress this salad with a sweet dressing like Raspberry Poppyseed and serve as holiday side dish.

Try this salad with any of our Vidalia Onion salad dressings. Super easy and delicious!
