We regularly send this mix to customers in Texas. From Minnesota. That's how good this soup is.

Simmer the package ingredients with 4 cups water and two cups of tomatoes for 15 minutes. I use my home canned tomatoes, but a 15-oz can of crushed or diced tomatoesor tomato saucewill work just as well. Crumble a handful of plain tortilla chips in each soup mug or bowl. Ladle soup over the chips, garnish with shredded cheese, and serve. 

Ready in 20 minutes. Package makes 8 cups of soup.

I’m from Texas, and I never thought the absolute best Corn Tortilla soup came from Minnesota. My relatives can’t find out, so please ship six packages in a plain, brown box.

My husband and I just made your Corn Tortilla Soup. We both LOVED it! It was so incredibly easy to make! Normally, when a recipe says “season to taste” (as this package did) I need to add so many seasonings to make it flavorful. NOT THIS ONE! It was PERFECTLY FLAVORED all around with just the right amount of “kick”. It was the most wonderful dinner for such a cold, snowy Wisconsin night!
