  • Demeter is the only organic association that has built up a network of individual certification organizations world-wide.

  • Nineteen Demeter organizations in Europe, America, Africa and Australia belong to Demeter International and work according to the same obligatory standards.

  • The common work includes guidelines, an individual evaluation and accreditation program, public relations work and lobbying.

  • Work also includes the world-wide trademark protection.
