The first soup mix I created was our 12-Bean Soup with vegetables, salt-free and delicious, with or without a meat bone.
Next I tackled chili. My oldest daughter needed meat-free; my husband has to eat meat. I grew tired of cooking two separate meals each day. My solution--mixes that tasted good with or without meat. (He could have a bowl of meat on the side.)
Bean soups make 2 to 3 quarts of hearty soup. Add ham, sausage, hamburger, chicken or your favorite meat to any of our mixes for a special treat!
