Hi! I am Anne Morgan. Welcome to The Secret Garden, my family-owned business creating products for busy, health-conscious families since 1985.

I started making mixes after I bought a small dehydrator for my garden's produce. I experimented and tweaked until I had recipes for soup packets that I could toss into a crockpot before I left on my schoolbus route in the morning. After a busy day on our small organic farm, my husband, three children and I could sit down to a hot, nutritious meal.

I gave mixes as holiday gifts a few years later and received rave reviews. Encouraged, I asked my husband to build a legal kitchen so I could develop a business and support our farm. That's how The Secret Garden started.

Over the years, I have not compromised my standards. I create--and we make--mixes that are easy to prepare, wholesome and delicious. My soup and entree mixes are vegetarian and complete. No need to shop for basics like onions and spices. Enhance by adding meat, or do as I do--serve cooked meat on the side. I love that cooks can "play" with my mixes.

My ingredient lists are simple and understandable. We never use MSG, aspartame or preservatives. I don't want my family--or yours--to eat them.
