Easy prep: blend mix with 1 egg and 1 can beer. You may substitute apple juice, ginger ale or milk for the beer, if you prefer. Oil pan and bake in preheated 350 degree oven.
Caramel Swirl Bread (using Cinnamon Beer Bread Mix)
Prepare bread mix using 1 egg and 1-1/2 cups apple juice. Pour into greased 9x13 pan.
To make caramel swirl, whip together 1/4 c. white sugar,1/4 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 T. cinnamon, 1/4 c. very soft butter.
eserve 2 T of the swirl mix, then drop remaining spoonfuls of swirl onto batter, and swirl in with a knife.
Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. While bread is baking, blend 1/2 cup powdered sugar into the 2 T. saved swirl, and then stir in 2 T. milk to make a thick glaze, adding 1/4 cup chopped toasted walnuts or pecans if desired. Drizzle glaze on bread just out of the oven.
